Lily has been teaching Yoga for over twelve years. A former competitive swimmer, snowboarder and surfer she is well qualified to introduce you to Ashtanga Yoga, a vigorous form. Lily has studied with renowned teachers from all over the world. In Mysore, India, she studied with Sri K. PattabhiJois. Lily’s knowledge of Yoga, Pilates and anatomy ensures that you can trust her to bring a safe, energetic and light-hearted approach to her classes, which are suitable for all levels of fitness.
Lily’s personal practice is Ashtanga based, with elements chosen from Vinyasa, Power and Hatha Yoga. Her multi-form approach enables her to make each session more inspired, creative and flexible, always tailored to your needs in a challenging yet safe way. Lily also offers Pre-natal Yoga. Lily’s Pilates Level One and Two sessions will help you to help you build muscle strength and endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips and back. The focus in these sessions also includes spinal alignment, pelvic stability, breathing, improved coordination and balance.
Samantha is a qualified doctor of Indian holistic and Ayurveda medicine and a graduate in yogic and natural medicine. She spent seven years working as a Yoga instructor and wellness consultant in India. Her goal is to train the human body to improve its natural resistance to disease and disorders. She teaches rejuvenative, restorative and therapeutic Yoga as well as Chakra and visualised meditation, transcendental meditation, hydrotherapy, acupuncture, reflexology and panchakarma. She also practises traditional Indian and Arabic forms of henna body decoration.
Samantha’s classes include Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga, to develop balance of body and mind; Prana Yoga, for accomplishment, clarity, vitality and tranquillity; Sunrise and Sunset Yoga; Hirudhaya Yoga, for cardiovascular wellbeing; and Katti Yoga, to help the body maintain a proper upright posture and movement. She also leads sessions in Yang Yoga, which includes pre-natal and post-natal Yoga, for women’s reproductive health, mobility, strength and endurance. Her Hara Yoga sessions help to detoxify the body.
