An experienced yoga teacher with qualifications from both the British Wheel of Yoga and the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta centre, Jan has been practicing yoga for over 40 years, following in the footsteps of her mother. Initially enjoying the physical benefits – strength, flexibility and muscle tone – she also came to appreciate the spiritual and lifestyle benefits, and it is this holistic approach to yoga that she hopes to pass on to her students. Jan believes benefits can be experienced by men and women of any age or fitness level.
As well as running regular classes across Hertfordshire and Essex Jan also teaches at many highly regarded spas and yoga centres around the world.
Jan is fully qualified in Thai yoga massage and many of her clients also find that a regular massage allows them to enjoy a deeper practice and reap even more rewards from their yoga sessions.
