Tri St Lucia
Tri St Lucia will be hosting its 4th annual Triathlon on November 19, 2016. There are three distances to choose from – each with Individual and Relay entry options.
The Dagger 200m Swim, 6.6km Bike, 2.5km Run
The Pistol 750m Swim, 13.2km Bike, 5km Run
The Cutlass 1500m Swim, 26.4km Bike, 10km Run
A breathtaking scenic route with plenty of tough hills and partially closed roads will set the stage for healthy competition between the Caribbean Islands and the rest of the world.
A number of celebrities will be joining Tri St Lucia together with British Olympic legend Daley Thompson (2 Olympic Gold medals in the Decathlon). There will also be a number of master classes in the run up to race day, each one led by a past Olympian.
Tri St Lucia recommends that you arrive at least five days before the race to aclimatise (its always 30 degrees plus and very humid). Come and enjoy the host of pre event parties together with activities (aquathlon, beach run, open water swim, master classes as well as the Wednesday pre race reception meal) in the week leading up to the main event – the triathlon, so make a holiday out of the event and bring your partner/ family or come on your own. Also note that one week prior to Tri Saint Lucia, on November 12, 2016 BodyHoliday will be hosting our own 1 Mile Swim event with Olympic marathon swimmer Keri-anne Payne.
