ENHANCED HYGIENE AND PREVENTATIVE MEASURES
At both BodyHoliday and Rendezvous Resorts we are monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and being guided on precautionary measures from many sources such as the World Health Organisation (WHO), the U.S. Centre for Disease Control (CDC) and the Saint Lucia Department of Health and Wellness.
In our commitment to our guest’s safety and peace of mine, we have implemented a number of policies and protocols across our resorts providing enhanced hygiene and preventative measures. Some of these are highlighted below.
Sanitisation We have increased sanitization within all areas and are taking extra precautions with the additional sanitisation of items that are touch points for guests such as handles, chairs, tables. We are also reducing the risk of contamination by reducing, where possible, the need to touch surfaces, such as sourcing self closing waste bins.
Hand sanitiser is available throughout the resorts and staff and guests are strongly encouraged to use this regularly and as often as possible.
Spa Cleanliness and Etiquette In addition to the usual cleaning and sanitisation procedures already in place, all team members in the Wellness Centre at BodyHoliday and The Spa in the Water Garden at Rendezvous will be deep cleaning treatment rooms between guest therapies as well as increasing the general sanitisation within the area.
Education and Information Signage and information have been placed in the resorts to educate guests on proper sanitisation methods and additional staff training has already been conducted and will continue.
Personal Contact In order to avoid possible contamination though personal contact, we will be promoting no handshakes, no hugging and no kissing as a precaution when greeting individuals. Instead, our team adopts the alternative greetings of:
– Placing their right hand over their heart and bowing their head slightly
– The Namaste greeting, hands pressed together, slight bow of head with palms touching and fingers pointing upwards, thumbs close to the chest
