Alex Goode

Alex Goode, a professional English rugby player, has been a key element of Saracens recent successes.  Having been given his chance by Eddie Jones when in the clubs academy Alex has proven himself to be a consistent performer for both club and country at the highest level.  His game understanding and decision making are his main strengths and he also operates at both Fly Half and Full Back.  Having played Fly half in his early year Alex is a threat from the 15 position as he enters the attack as a second receiver.  Alex made his England debut against South Africa in the summer of 2012 and has been a key member of Stuart Lancaster’s England squad since that day.

Honours include England (13 Caps); England Saxons; Aviva Premiership 2010/11. Goode, the nephew of Jo Goode, who won an Olympic bronze in Badminton in Sydney, has made numerous appearances over the last few years notably in the Saracens – Premiership, Heineken Cup, LV Cup and Amlin Cup.

Wellfit Families promises a wholesome family experience that motivates children and adults alike towards family bonding, wellbeing and fitness. Goode will be on hand delivering motivational speeches, engaging participants in beach rugby, fitness classes and a wide range of activities for Wellfit Families 2014.
