Toby Maguire And Taoist Practices for Health and Longevity – New to The BodyHoliday LeSport

The BodyHoliday LeSPORT is no ordinary resort. It is totally dedicated to health and wellbeing and is based around the four key pillars of diet, exercise, restorative beauty and relaxation. We are always trying to add to our portfolio of events and this year weare very excited to have Toby Maguire at the resort. Toby Maguire has been practicingthe healing arts of the East for nearly twenty years and has spent the last ten years traveling South East Asia studying Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Meditation, Massage and the Taoist approach to nutritional healing. He is qualified in Nutrition and Holistic Wellness.

If you are looking for a new approach or simply some motivation to get healthy again, then Toby will have you up and about in no time.

Toby brings with him a wealth of knowledge in a number of areas including Chi Nei Tsang. This is an internal organs and abdominal massage that helps to clear and detoxify blockages in the large and small intestine caused by emotional stress and poor dietary habits. When this occurs, all vital functions stagnate, resulting in digestive disorders such as bloating, gas, IBS, and constipation. Chi Nei Tsang releases the negative emotion, tensions and sickness bringing comfort and relief to the abdomen and vital energy to the organs.

He is also well versed in the practice of Sujok which is also referred to as Korean Hand and Foot Acupuncture and uses various methods including very small acupuncture needles to alleviate pain throughout the body. Working on similar principles to both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Reflexology, it can be used to alleviate many sources of pain, including joint pain, arthritis, sciatica, back pain, digestive disorders, muscle stiffness, respiratory and skin conditions.
Qi Gong – (The Eight Piece Brocade) is another area of expertise that Toby brings with him. This is a simple pattern of eight gentle but powerful breathing stretching andstrengthening movements that activate the Qi energy and blood circulation in the body. Practiced in China for over a thousand years, these exercises help to stimulate your immune system, strengthen your internal organs and give you abundant energy.

Among other energy releasing strategies, Toby will present a series of Lifestyle Coaching sessions. If you love what you do, you will never work another day in your life. Life Coaching helps us to look more deeply inside of ourselves to discover our true talents, passions and dreams and how we can achieve them.

Our minds and bodies are very much interconnected and therefore, a positive outlook on life is also vital to secure a sense of happiness and wellbeing. Lifestyle Coaching teaches us how to discover what our talents, dreams and ambitions are in life and how we can achieve them. In addition, it teaches us how to effectively deal with stress and our emotions through meditation and mindfulness.
