An experienced yoga teacher with qualifications from both the British Wheel of Yoga and the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta centre, I have been practicing yoga for over 40 years, following in the footsteps of my mother. Initially enjoying the physical benefits – strength, flexibility and muscle tone – I also came to appreciate the spiritual and lifestyle benefits, and it is this holistic approach to yoga that I hope to pass on to my students. I believe benefits can be experienced by men and women of any age or fitness level.
As well as running regular classes across Hertfordshire and Essex I have also taught at spas and yoga centres around the world, including BodyHoliday in St Lucia and the Poova Island Ayurvedic Resort in India – and it was teaching abroad that inspired me to organise annual retreats for my own students.
