Christmas at BodyHoliday
Spending Christmas away from home at a tropical beach resort is a real change from tradition. We cannot promise snow and roaring log fires and reindeer, but we do not stray too far from the traditions you love. In the days leading up to Christmas itself, the team will be organizing things a little bit differently to the rest of the year. Don’t worry, we’ll not skimp on all our regular classes and fitness events, but we’ll be providing quite a bit extra in the entertainment department.
Below are just a few highlights and the full printed schedule for the holidays will be out shortly.
Christmas Day itself will be light on the fitness regime however and most of the day will be dedicated to more hedonistic pleasures. Usually, after breakfast is done, everyone gradually filters down to the clubhouse, where there will be eggnog a-plenty. At some point, a cry will go up as the crowd realizes that Santa is about to make an appearance. It is a BodyHoliday tradition to Create some special entrance for Santa. In the past these have included arrival from under the Ocean, with help from scuba, para-gliding, waterskiing, jet ski driving up onto the beach….you get the idea?
After his arrival, assuming he is still in one piece, gifts will be distributed and more egg nog consumed, until finally it is time for a fabulous, all-trimmings Turkey lunch, just like back home, except we do the carving.
Try not to miss the Police Band, they are awesome! Another “not to be missed” is the Christmas Eve singing around the piano in of course the piano bar.
Season’s Greetings to everyone..
