Yoga Class at The BodyHoliday

1st-29th October

A truly restorative vacation, during October BodyHoliday becomes the ultimate yoga retreat. Designed for everyone from the beginner to the more advanced, the month-long programme of activities, led by experienced teachers, offers limitless lessons from sunrise to sunset–featuring Hatha, Ashtanga, Shanthi and Katti yoga and meditation classes. The holiday includes a dedicated menu of yogic foods and teas served at restaurants throughout the resort, as well as an array of special massage and therapeutic treatments at The Wellness Centre.

Joining our Resident Yogi, Natascha and Kestin, we welcome Yogi Master Doug Swenson

Doug began his study of yoga in 1963, when yoga practice in most areas, was considered to be weird and uncool. He has had the fortune of studying with many great teachers including – Dr. Ernest Wood, K. Pattabhi Jois, Ramanand Patel, and many others. Doug’s unique approach to yoga has evolved into a holistic presentation – to include all aspects of a productive life, including enhanced nutrition, and cross training.

Amanda Parr, founder of SoulScuba and the author and exclusive instructor of the PADI Yoga Diver course will be at BodyHoliday offering a variety of activities that fuse Yoga and Scuba Diving for participants of all experience levels. In the PADI Yoga Diver course, certified divers learn how to integrate fundamental Yoga concepts and practices into their scuba diving experience.

Not a certified diver? Try the Discover Scuba-Yoga experience! Through land-based Yoga instruction, and introductory dive lesson, and an (optional) open water dive, you will get a safe and unforgettable taste of the underwater world. Click here to find out more about Amanda and Scuba-Yoga.
