BodyHoliday Experience vs Resort Spas

Destination spas have a slightly different twist on wellness. In traditional hotels we see the offering changing towards the public’s overall demand for an increased sense of wellness in the hotels spa facilities. These range from parks to outdoor exercise to gyms, meditation centers, yoga shalas, sound gardens and such facilities designed at a high-level.

How does BodyHoliday approach wellness?

In everything that we do at BodyHoliday we imagine it from the guest’s point of view. Our job is to help them to discover things about themselves that will eventually lead to an enhanced quality of life. That said, we can lead a horse to water but, at the end of the day, it is up to them to seize the opportunity presented. Our goal is to make healthy living accessible, overarching and part of the holiday experience.

Ultimately, a wellness vacation, a BodyHoliday as we call to it, is to create an atmosphere that is conducive and inspires guests to go beyond their comfort zone and be accepting of the new and inspirational. Each guest finds this in their own way. In doing so they create for themselves a broader perspective on life and are able to reflect on the values that they wish to hold strong in their lives. In the absence of judgement, it is a time for reflection and change.

BodyHoliday’s team members play a crucial part on the BodyHoliday experience, as the majority of our guests have gotten to know the team and come back every year to relax, and rejuvenate but also to say hello to old friends.

To say that the process trumps the outcome isn’t quite the trick. May every person come to be in a place where they can discover their own relevant outcome be that relief, joy, love, laughter or peace. Our promise to our guests says, “give us your body for a week and we’ll give you back your mind”. Ultimately, we change people’s lives, one person at a time.”
