The Cuban Cha Cha Cha and Salsa, the fiery Argentine Tango, the Caribbean Merengue, American Jive and the energetic Columbian Zumba –dancing has a truly global appeal!
In June 2026 we are once again dedicating a whole month to dance and hoping to inspire more people to take up this amazing exercise and have some fun.
Nineteen daytime dance and dance-fitness classes per week including Zumba, Disco Aerobics, Street Dance, Foxtrot, Dance Step, Hip Hop, AquaDance, Jive, Salsa, Argentine Tango, Merengue, Latin Aerobics, and Cha ChaCha.

Lauren Oakley

Lauren is a professional dancer on the hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing and is about to begin her fifth season on the programme. In 2024, she reached the finals with her partner JB Gill and last year partnered footballer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, with whom she performed a memorable Soca-themed dance.
She recently toured the UK on the Strictly Come Dancing Arena Tour and also toured with Anton Du Beke as the leading lady. Lauren is currently performing on the Strictly Professionals Tour across the UK before joining us in Saint Lucia immediately after the tour concludes.
Originally from Birmingham, Lauren has been dancing since the age of two and competing internationally in both Ballroom and Latin dance since the age of seven, winning major international competitions. Since 2013, she has performed around the world with Burn the Floor, later contributing to the show’s choreography and creative direction.
James Cutler

James is a multiple-time UK National Champion in Ballroom, Latin, and 10-Dance, this highly accomplished professional dancer brings over 25 years of experience to the stage and studio. With a dynamic career spanning competitive success, stage performance, and television, he is a seasoned and versatile artist.
Confident and charismatic, he has toured extensively across the UK and performed in major productions in Dubai, thriving under the spotlight and delivering captivating performances. His experience with live television further showcases his ability to excel under pressure, making him a natural both on stage and in front of the camera.
Trained by some of the most respected coaches in the industry, he has honed exceptional skills in choreography, performance, and instruction. As a result, he has become a sought-after teacher, having trained multiple British Champions across all age groups, with standout success in teacher-student and Pro/Am categories.
Approachable, loveable, and endlessly enthusiastic, he possesses an insatiable passion for all aspects of dance—especially performance, musicality, and characterization. Whether teaching, competing, or entertaining, he brings heart and excellence to everything he does.
Trent and Gordana

Trent and Gordana are an internationally acclaimed dance and creative duo who have been performing and creating together since 2007, with over 28 years of individual professional experience each. Their careers span stage, screen, television, and live performance, with appearances from Broadway to the Royal Albert Hall and BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.
They are best known for their work on Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing with the Stars, and global touring productions, as well as their award-nominated short film Choose Love. Their creative credits include choreography for major artists and productions such as Rod Stewart, Kevin Spacey’s E*Trade campaign, NBC’s I Can Do That, and multiple international So You Think You Can Dance franchises.
As performers, they have worked with global icons including Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett, Smokey Robinson, The Backstreet Boys, Take That, OneRepublic, and Gloria Estefan. They first met performing in the world-renowned production Burn The Floor, which took them across some of the world’s most prestigious stages, including Broadway and Radio City Music Hall.
Today, Trent and Gordana continue to create, choreograph, and produce original work that blends storytelling, movement, fashion, and film, including their musical Le Hotel and couture label GGW Designs.
Most recently, Gordana and Trent have successfully entered their new short film Waltzing Whiskey for the Cannes Film Festival.
Alan Burkitt

Alan is a renowned actor, dancer, and choreographer with over 23 years of experience across stage and television. He has performed in leading West End productions and international tours, including Top Hat, CATS, We Will Rock You, Singing in the Rain, and 42nd Street, as well as TV and screen projects such as Scrooge (Netflix) and Masters of the Sky (Apple TV).
Alongside his performance career, Alan is an accomplished choreographer. His credits include work on Strictly Come Dancing (BBC), So You Think You Can Dance (BBC), and numerous West End and international productions, as well as directing and choreographing large-scale shows and cruise line productions.
He is also Co-Director of Premiere Scholars, an elite dance and musical theatre associate programme based in Kent, dedicated to developing the next generation of young performers.
